She received her doctorate from the University of Vienna in 2009. In 2010, she joined the <a style=\"text-decoration: none;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.uni-klu.ac.at\/frieden\/inhalt\/1.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Centre for Peace Studies and Peace Education<\/a> at the University Klagenfurt where she was promoted to assistant professor in 2015. The same year, she started her transdisciplinary research project \u201cTheorizing Epistemic Violence\u201d which she successfully completed in 2020.
